We're not going back

There seems to be a tendency to revert to the past when things get difficult, rather than moving forward into the future. The world has changed, and people's thinking has changed as well. If leaders don't recognize this and instead rely on past successes, will they achieve good results? Leaders should not think of themselves as commanding people, but rather consider how their colleagues can do their jobs better and how they can all thrive together.

Ultimately, everything is decided by people, and a great leader fosters an environment where capable individuals can work joyfully and collaboratively with all colleagues. Building trust with colleagues seems essential.

For South Korea, which heavily relies on exports, the economy is expected to be very challenging next year (Trump Tax-Rump 2nd term). It seems that all organizations are moving very busily to prepare for this. I hope they overcome the crisis well.

I've shared these thoughts, but please don't misunderstand them as complaints. I believe now is the time to live with infinite gratitude. I'm reflecting on this again.

Let's look at the world. (Various news)

Economy

2024-11-28 (Thu) Morning Routine (Hankyung) : Most snow since the beginning of meteorological observations / TVING and WAVVE merger expected (CJ management) / Telecom 3 companies dividends, stock prices UP / Government semiconductor support 15 trillion won / Kakao coffee raw material price increased by over 10%

>> Whether the merger of TVING and WAVVE will benefit shareholders is a key point to watch / Traditional profitable stocks will likely be used when the economy is struggling

IT

A Mouse With Two Dads — and a New Frontier for Biology | Katsuhiko Hayashi | TED : It's possible for same-sex couples (two women or two men) to have children. It doesn't require sexual intercourse; it can be done in a dish. This raises dangerous ethical considerations concerning population control, given the current declining population. (Please comment if the content is incorrect.) => It is possible for two women or two men to have children without the need for sexual reproduction. This can be achieved through in vitro methods. While this approach raises significant ethical concerns, it presents a potential solution to address the current issue of declining population rates. If you need any further adjustments or additional information, feel free to ask!

>> I'm repeatedly playing this TED video to study English listening. However, it's presented by a Japanese person. The YouTube captions aren't well-made. Ultimately, skill is more important globally. Language is just a tool for communication! I'm grateful for my age. (The future world is scary)
